Maximilian Haller, 19, from South Tyrol, Italy, has won the Northern Ireland International Organ Competition, which took place in St Patrick’s Church of Ireland Cathedral, Armagh on 11 and 12 August. 

12 competitors from 3 continents have been shortlisted as senior finalists in this year’s Northern Ireland International Organ Competition. The 13th edition will take place in Armagh between Monday 11 and Wednesday 13 August 2025.

The Northern Ireland International Organ Competition (NIIOC) will take place from Monday 11 August to Wednesday 13 August 2024 in Armagh. 

The third movement of Roxanna Panufnik’s Mass for Organ will be premiered by Andrew Forbes, Director of Music at Glasgow Cathedral, in a recital presented by the Northern Ireland International Organ Competition (NIIOC) at First Church, Rosemary Street, Belfast, on 2 May.

Jan Liebermann, aged 18, from Germany, has won the 2024 Northern Ireland International Organ Competition (NIIOC), which took place in Armagh on 12–14 August.

Thirteen young organists representing six countries on both sides of the Atlantic have been selected to participate in the senior category of the Northern Ireland International Organ Competition (NIIOC) 2024, which takes place in Armagh 12–14 August. Four are from Germany, five from the UK, and one each from Canada, the Czech Republic and Latvia.
